A fine antique photograph of Tsarevich Alexei wearing a stylized Cossack attire, circa 1907, by St. Petersburg photographers Boasson and Eggler.

There are no photographers' names on the photograph, since the border of the mount paper (where a stamp should be) had been trimmed, apparently, to fit a frame.

Size 4 1/2 x 7 1/2 (11,5 x 19,2 cm)

Traditionally, Tsarevich and Heir to the Throne, was a Commander-in-Chief of all Cossack armies from his very birth.
