Art Nouveau Vintage Russian Chrysolite And Amethyst Gold Pendant Earrings

made in Moscow between 1908 and 1917


The gemstone chrysolite is also called chrysoberyl. It is known by different names, according to its color, it being called peridot when of a deep olive-green, olivine when of yellowish green, and chrysolite when of a golden color.



The earrings are marked with 56 zolotniks old Russian gold standard (14K -583) / Moscow assay office, and maker's initials 'БРА'.
