The cover is tooled in gilt and silver and decorated with the cipher of Nicholas II under large Imperial crown, a coronation herald, and a view of the Moscow Kremlin. 210 pages, descriptive text and 158 illustrations, including panoramic views of the coronation procession and ceremony in the Uspensky Cathedral, official dinners and balls, images of Imperial regalia, copies of menus of coronation dinners and theatrical play bills, coronation memorabilia. Most illustrations are after original drawings by various artists, few photographs.
