A Victorian era silver topped gold ring features a Renaissance style French Limoges enamel miniature of Eros / Cupid, the Greco-Roman god of erotic love, desire and affection, finely painted in white & gray enamels on a cobalt blue ground with gold highlights. The miniature is set in a rose cut diamond frame. Enamel is in excellent condition.
The shank of the ring is a modern replacement.
The enamel and diamond top measures 24 x 18 mm (15/16 x 2/3 in.)
