An Antique Russian Porcelain Kovsh
by the Kornilov brothers factory in St. Petersburg
A similar Kornilov porcelain kovsh is illustrated in DINING WITH THE CZARS, page 151.
This early Kornilov kovsh is decorated with a molded double headed eagle and stylized Russian ornaments.
The shape is of 16th -17th centuries Russian Tsars’ presentation silver kovshes.
Length – 19,3 cm (7 1/2 in.)
