Russian, made between 1899 and 1908
A 14k gold ring is designed as a stylized flower or a fly. The ring is set with one 1.22 ct Russian demantoid of excellent color and clarity, one old European cut diamond (4.4 – 4.6 x 3.4 mm, approximately 0.43 ct), and seven old rose cut diamonds.
The demantoid has some very fine “horsetails” which confirm its Ural Mountains origin.
Marked with 56 zolotnik Imperial gold standard with assayer’s initials ‘AA’ and maker’s initials.
