Russian, made in the 1890s.

14K gold earrings are prong-set with two excellent old European cut diamonds: 0.59 ct and 0.62 ct,  accented by opaque black enamel. The diamonds are bright white (F color, VS1 clarity) and very sparkly.

Total diamond weight 1.21 ct.

Length with earwire 16 mm (5/8 in.)

Diameter 8 mm (5/16 in.)

Weight 0.99 gram and 0.92 gram (very light).

The earrings are marked with 56 zolotnik Imperial gold standard and maker’s initials.
