This antique gold and silver pendant locket features a finely painted enamel gazing putto (angel) after Raphael’s putto from the Sistine Madonna painting (1512) surrounded by very fine quality deep strawberry red guilloche enamel. The silver wings of the angel are set with rose cut diamonds. The border of the pendant is embellished with four pearls and numerous tiny rose cut diamonds. The back is fitted with a glazed miniature picture frame.
