This very fine Art Nouveau 18K gold Madonna pendant is attributed to a famous Barcelona (Spain) jeweler and artist Luis Masriera. The pendant is embellished with plique à jour and shaded enamels of blue and purple colors. The center medallion is framed by stylized enamel shells with gold pearls and old rose cut diamonds set in silver. The silver and gold bail is also set with rose cut diamonds.

The pendant measures without the bail 35 x 30 mm (1 3/8 x 1 1/8 in.)
