An Antique Enamel Portrait Miniature Diamond and Gold Bracelet
made in St. Petersburg between 1908 and 1917
A Russian Imperial era 14K gold link bracelet features a painted enamel portrait miniature (diameter 19 mm – 3/4 in.) of a young girl in a diamond-set bezel.
The superbly painted portrait miniature is surrounded by 34 old mine and old single cut diamonds.
Diamond color F – G, clarity VS2 – SI1. Estimated total diamond weight is 1.55 ct.
It is an extremely rare example of antique Russian miniature portrait jewelry.
This finely crafted bracelet is a work of a prominent St. Petersburg jeweler of the period, Feodor Rooch.
The bracelet is said to belong to a St. Petersburg aristocratic family.
