Made in Saint Petersburg between 1904 and 1908 by one of the best Russian enamelers of the period – Ivan Britzin.
The gold mounted miniature egg is covered with a guilloche enamel of a brilliant apple green color.
Marked with 56 zolotnik old Russian gold standard (14K), initials ‘AP’ for St. Petersburg assay master Alexander Romanov (1904-1908), and maker’s initials ‘ИБ’.
Length without suspension ring is 16 mm (5/8 in.)
