This antique necklace is designed in the Russian Moderne Style of the 1910s. The necklace consists of a silver-topped 14K gold pendant (front – silver, back – gold) and a silver chain (37 cm long / almost 15 in.). Two large cushion cut Siberian amethysts are accented by two Russian demantoids.

The amethysts measure: 18.72 x 16.47 x 12.40 mm, approximately 22.29 ct, and 17.42 x 15.68 x 10.80 mm, approximately 17.20 ct.

Estimated total amethyst weight is 39.49 carats.

The necklace is marked on the frame with 56 zolotnik old Russian gold standard and maker’s initials.
