The border is decorated with a transfer printed cipher of Czarevich Alexei (the son of Nicholas II) in Old Slavonic style. Almost certainly by the Imperial porcelain factory (no factory marks), circa 1914.

Condition: moderate overall wear, some paint loss on rim.
