The arms of the cross and the bail are embellished with stylized flames accented by table cut rubies which symbolize the Sacrificial Blood of Jesus Christ. The “INRI” abbreviation on the board above Christ’s head stands for “Iesus Nazarenus, Rex Iudaeorum” meaning “Jesus of Nazareth, King of the Jews.” The engraved back of the crucifix is centered with a heart.
