The brooch is crafted in silver and 18K gold. It is finely modeled as a swan with a carved mother of pearl body. The feathers are encrusted with rose cut diamonds. The eye is accented with a small ruby.
Marked on pin with eagle’s head French assay mark for 750 gold standard.
There are two small gold rings on the back to which a chain necklace could be attached.
