The brooch is designed as a ribbon-tied floral branch. It’s superbly crafted in silver-topped 18K gold (front – silver, back – gold) and embellished with numerous old mine cut and rose cut diamonds.
Estimated total diamond weight is 3 carats. The biggest diamond is approximately 0.63 ct.
Length is 78 mm (3 1/8 in.)
Width of the principal flower is 32 mm (1 1/4 in.)
Marked on pin and frame with eagle’s head French assay mark for 18K gold.
‘En tremblant’ (means ‘to tremble’ in French), is the name for antique floral brooches which were designed to have the flower heads tremble, when worn.
