This very fine Victorian era 14K gold bracelet is designed as a coiled snake holding a heart shaped pendant locket. The snake’s head is hand-engraved with scrolling foliage and embellished with turquoise, one old European cut diamond, and two rose cut diamonds.
The heart pendant is fitted with a miniature glazed picture frame.
The old European cut diamond is approximately 0.35 ct and is of a later date (circa 1900). The clasp of the bracelet is marked with later Russian 56 zolotnik mark (1908-1917, city of Odessa) and French ‘ET’ mark for imported foreign gold objects of artistic or curiosity value.
