This Belle Epoque antique giardinetto (little garden) convertible brooch / pendant with detachable pin is designed as a diamond basket with two ruby handles holding a ruby and diamond flower. The brooch/pendant is handcrafted in silver and 14K yellow gold.
Marked with letter ‘A’ for Vienna on the loop of the screw.
Estimated total ruby weight is 1.50 carats.
Approximate total diamond weight is 2.10 carats.
The diamonds (mostly old European cut stones) are bright white and clean: F-G-H color, VS1-VS2 clarity. The rubies are likely of Burmese origin.
