A very fine 19th century 14k gold cross is hand engraved and covered with cobalt and sky blue champleve enamel.
Abbreviation ‘IC’ – ‘XC’ stands for Jesus Christ.
Engraved inscription on the back reads: SAVE AND PROTECT
The cross in marked with 56 zolotnik old Russian gold standard with St. George assay mark for Moscow and maker’s initials.
