This fine antique Russian two-tone textured and polished 14K gold cross pendant with hand-engraved decorations was made in Saint Petersburg in 1862.
The abbreviation ‘IC’ – ‘XC’ on the horizontal arms of the cross stands for Jesus Christ.
The cross is marked on back with maker’s initials, St. Petersburg assay mark (two crossed anchors and a scepter), date ‘1862’, and 56 zolotnik Imperial gold standard.
Total length is 32 mm (1 1/4 in.)
Width is 18 mm (3/4 in.)
