An antique Russian 14K gold ring features a 1.97 ct natural sapphire of a deep royal blue color. The sapphire is flanked by two chunky old mine cut diamonds (approximately 0.24 ct and 0.22 ct). The sides of the ring are carved with medieval Byzantine-style designs.
