An Etruscan Revival Gold Fringe Pendant / Brooch with Turquoise.

This excellent Victorian era turquoise pendant / pin features delicate wire design with fine granulation on a matte ground,

and beautiful turquoise cabochons which are in perfect condition.

Made in St. Petersburg in the 1880s.

Height – 2 in. (52 mm)

Width – 1 1/16 in. (27 mm)

Marked on the front with St. Petersburg coat-of-arms and 56 zolotnik old Russian gold standard (14K). The pin guard is struck with 56 assay mark and maker’s initials ‘ ? ? ‘ The pin is stamped with later Soviet control marks from the 1930s. The back is set with a miniature picture frame.
