A set of antique Russian gilded silver and shaded cloisonne enamel cigarette case, and match box holder,
made in Moscow between 1899 and 1908 by Yakov Borisov.
Both pieces are enameled with colorful flowers in medieval Russian style on a pale green ground. Enamel is in excellent condition.

Marked with 84 zolotniks standard (875 silver) and master’s initials.
Interior is engraved with a later presentation inscription dated 1935.
