This is a very rare miniature icon pendant by Faberge. The 14K gold pendant is enameled with an icon of Saint George. The saint is depicted in medieval Russian tradition of Kievan Rus icons.
Marked with 56 zolotnik old Russian gold standard, Moscow assay mark, and ‘КФ’ in Cyrillic for Carl Faberge.

The pendant measures (w/o suspension ring) 27 x 19 mm (1 1/16 x 3/4 in.)

Condition: a shallow chip in the pale blue halo on the left side, some faint scratches.
