The pendant is crafted in 14K gold (rings and frames) and silver (body). It is covered with a superb translucent guilloche enamel of a silvery blue color. The front is embellished with an old mine cut diamond.
The interior of the locket is fitted with two gold picture frames.
Marked with 56 zolotnik old Russian gold standard, 84 zolotnik silver standard with St. Petersburg assay mark and initials ‘HW’ for Faberge’s head workmaster Henrik Wigstrom.
The body of the pendant measures (without rings) 30 x 24 mm (1 3/16 x 15/16 in.)
Condition: a small repaired chip to enamel on the back near the hinge and a couple of tiny repaired chips on the edge on the front.
