The front cover of this unusual locket is engraved in a fish scale pattern with a matte gold band across the center. The band is hand engraved with musical notes and embellished with a diamond and a blue spinel.
The interior of the locket is fitted with two miniature picture frames.
Marked with 56 zolotnik old Russian gold standard (14K) and maker’s initials.
The pendant measures 46 x 33 mm (1 6/8 x 1 1/4 in.)
