A Vintage Sapphire and Diamond Engagement Ring

Russian, circa 1910

The 14K gold cluster ring is centered with a cushion cut sapphire (9.8 x 7.4 x 3.6 mm, approximately 2.02 ct) set in a milgrain gold bezel

surrounded by 14 old European cut diamonds (estimated total diamond weight 1.40 ct) set in silver over gold.

The ring is marked with later Soviet control marks from the 1930s for 583 gold (14K) and 875 silver.
