This classic Victorian era crescent moon brooch is crafted in silver-topped 14K gold (front – silver, back – gold). The crescent is set with graduating old mine cut diamonds (I-J color, VS1-SI1 clarity).
Weight of the center diamond is approximately 0.60 ct.
Estimated total diamond weight is 2.40 carats.
Marked on pin and on pin guard with ‘A’ for Vienna and maker’s mark ‘H & F’.
Width is 35 mm (1 3/8 in.)
The brooch comes in a presentation case of the period.
