Original photograph, circa 1910, Nicholas II and empress Alexandra Feodorovna visiting the church in Borki, built on the site of the wreck of the czar’s train at the railway station of Borki near Kharkov (Ukraine) in 1888.
The Imperial couple, followed by members of the Suite, is about to enter the church. Cars of Imperial train are visible in the upper part of the photograph. Photograph – 8 x 6 1/4 in. (15,9 x 21 cm). Photo mat – 18 1/2 x 15 1/2 in. The photo mat is with some minor stains and scatches.
