This is a rare original pre-revolutionary Carl Faberge (jeweler to the Tsars) piece made in St. Petersburg between 1908 and 1917.
The parasol handle features a superb quality oyster white guilloche enamel. It is mounted on both ends with neo-classical style green and rose gold chased leaf bezels. The tip of the handle is set with a cabochon cut amethyst.
Marked on the lower gold mount with 1908-1917 kokoshnik assay marks, 56 zolotnik (14K) Imperial gold standard and initials ‘BA’ for Faberge’s workmaster Victor Aarne.
The elegant and stylish authentic Faberge piece is in impeccable condition.
