An antique 14K gold necklace features a large step cut amethyst of a velvety royal purple color accented by four old European cut diamonds. The amethyst is set in a bow and garland motif frame embellished with pearls.

The amethyst measures 21.76 x 17.20 x 10.08 mm and is approximately 25 carats.

The diamonds are approximately:  0.50 ct, 0.40 ct, 0.07 ct and 0.06 ct.

Estimated total diamond weight is 1.03 carat.

The chain is marked on the clasp with 56 zolotnik Imperial gold standard.

The pendant is 43 mm (1 3/4 in.) long and 35 mm (1 3/8 in.) wide.
