This large antique 14K gold pendant with a hand-engraved border features enameled Madonna and Child after Raphael’s The Sistine Madonna painting.

The back of the pendant is enameled with inscription in Latin:

“Sancta Maria, Mater Dei,
Ora Pro nobis !”

The inscription could be translated as:

“Holy Mary, Mother of God,
Pray for us !”
