Cross pendant No. 1
A yellow 18K gold antique pectoral cross from the reign of czar Alexander I (1801-1825).
Of traditional shape with rounded arms, the cross pendant is hand engraved with an eight pointed wooden cross, simulating the wooden grain,
and abbreviation ‘IC – XC’ for Jesus Christ.
The front is applied with a sculptural crucifix.
Direct translation of the inscription on the back of the cross:
“To Your Cross We Bow Almighty Lord and We Glorify Your Resurrection.”
The cross is marked on the lower arm with 72 zolotnik old Russian gold standard (18K), date ‘1823’ and Moscow city stamp.

A large rose and yellow gold antique cross dated 1844.
The rose gold straight cross with hand engraved decorations, is mounted with a yellow gold crucifix.
Direct translation of the engraved inscription on the back of the cross:
” To Your Cross We Bow Almighty Lord.”
Marked with 56 zolotnik gold standard (14K) and Moscow assay stamp with date ‘1844’.

Nice orange patina.
