An Antique Blue and White Enamel Egg Pendant

This very fine quality, elaborately decorated egg was made in Russia between 1899 and 1908.

The surface texture of the egg is finished to resemble a hammered metal.

The egg is covered with pearl white and royal blue translucent enamels separated with gold leaf wreaths.

The front and back are centered with tiny rose-cut diamonds within gold leaf star surroundings.

The egg is marked on the gold suspension ring with 56 zolotnik standard (14K).
