The brooch is finely modeled as a butterfly. It is handcrafted in silver-topped 18K gold and is encrusted with rose cut diamonds, sapphires and rubies. The principal velvety blue sapphire (1.15 carats) is a natural untreated stone of Cambodian origin.
The brooch is marked on pin with eagle’s head French assay mark for 750 gold standard and maker’s mark.
