This very fine large antique shell cameo is superbly hand carved with profile busts of Greek god Zeus (Jupiter in Roman mythology), the king of the gods of Mount Olympus, and his wife goddess Gera (Juno), raising from the clouds. There are also small images of Hermes (Mercury) and the eagle of Zeus in the lower part of the cameo.

The cameo (49 x 41 mm, 1 7/8 x 1 5/8 in.) is set in a 14K gold bezel accented by four gold beads.
