This antique ring is crafted in 14K gold and silver. The diamond top with closed back setting is circa 1800. The openwork shank is of a later date, circa early 1900s.
The diamond cluster is horizontally set to the center with a rectangular cushion cut diamond (7.21 x 5.77 mm, approximately 1.10 – 1.20 carats, I-J color, SI1 clarity). The principal diamond is surrounded by eight chunky old mine cut diamonds.
The diamonds are white and very sparkly.
Estimated total diamond weight is 3.50 – 4.00 carats.
