This antique Russian hand-engraved 14K yellow gold cross pendant was made in Moscow in 1854.
The abbreviation ‘IC’ – ‘XC’ on the horizontal arms of the cross stands for Jesus Christ.
The cross is marked on back with date ‘1854’, Moscow assay mark (St. George on horseback), 56 zolotnik old Russian gold standard, and maker’s initials.
