This antique miniature egg pendant was made between 1908 and 1917 by a prominent St. Petersburg jeweler Ivan Britzin, who specialized in guilloche enamel objects, which are very similar in style and quality to those made by Faberge.
The egg is covered with a deep burgundy red guilloche enamel.
Marked on suspension ring with 56 zolotnik old Russian gold standard (14K) and maker’s initials ‘ИБ’.
Length without suspension ring is 17 mm (11/16 in.)
