An antique Russian pendant is designed as a carved miniature jasper egg mounted in 14K gold. The chocolate brown and pinkish brown complexion of the jasper resembles that of a quail’s egg.

The egg is marked on the gold rings with 56 zolotnik Imperial standard and maker’s mark.
