The pendant is crafted in 14K gold. It features a superb quality guilloche enamel of royal blue color. The translucent enamel is applied over engraved sun ray pattern.
The front cover is centered with a small old mine cut diamond.
The interior of the locket is fitted with two glazed picture frames.
The quality of enamel of this pendant is similar to the quality of Faberge guilloche enamels.
Marked with 56 zolotnik old Russian gold standard and St. Petersburg assay mark. No maker’s mark.
Condition: few minor surface scratches from wear.
The pendant measures without suspension ring 30 x 20 mm ( 1 3/16 x 3/4 in.)
Russian guilloche enamel pendants are rare, especially of this quality.
