This gold mounted carved pink & black Siberian rhodonite miniature egg pendant was made in the early 1900s.

Rhodonite was a fashionable stone in that period. Major Russian jewelers of the Tsarist Court like Faberge, Bolin, Khan, and Koehli extensively used Siberian rhodonite in their jewelry and objets d’art.
