This classic Victorian era crescent moon pendant / brooch is finely crafted in silver-topped 14K gold. The crescent consists of two rows of diamonds: the top row is set with cushion shaped and round old cut diamonds, the lower row – with rose cut diamonds. The diamonds are bright white and clean (F-G color, VS2-SI1 clarity).
Estimated total diamond weight is 1.60 ct.
The back is fitted with a detachable pin, a folding bail and a wire bail. The crescent can be hung on a chain in two different manners: at a tip of the crescent or in the middle of the crescent.
The pin is marked with maker’s initials and ‘A’ for Vienna.
