This unique, one of a kind, 14K gold Art Nouveau belt buckle / brooch is designed as interlacing ribbons accented by bezel-set white sapphires, Siberian amethysts, almandine and rhodolite garnets, aquamarines, citrines, and rose cut diamonds.
Marked with 56 zolotnik old Russian gold standard with initials ‘ИЛ’ for Moscow assayer Ivan Lebedkin (1899-1908). There is also a French “ET” mark for imported foreign (étranger) gold objects.
