A Superb Art Nouveau Enameled Gold Pendant
Russian, made between 1908 and 1917
A wavy floral Art Nouveau style green and rose gold pendant features a chased gold bird caching a diamond.
The ground of the medallion is engine turned with sun rays radiating from the diamond held by the bird,
and it is covered with a fine quality silverish pale blue guilloche enamel suggesting a sky.
The stylized floral ornaments in the lower part are highlighted by a pair of diamonds.
The original enamel is in excellent condition.
Estimated total diamond weight – 0.60 ct.
Height without suspension rings – 31 mm (1 1/4 in.)

The pendant is unmarked but almost certainly a work of the 3rd Jewelry Artel in Moscow, active between 1908 and 1917.
