This impressive Russian Imperial era antique sapphire and diamond ring was made in the city of Odessa between 1908 and 1917.
The 14K gold ring is designed as a stylized flowerhead (20 x 19 mm), centered with an antique cushion cut diamond (7 x 6.2 x 4.8 mm, approximately 1.76 ct, I color, SI1 clarity). The principal diamond is surrounded by four cushion cut deep blue natural sapphires, and four old mine cut diamonds (approximately 0.67 ct total).
Estimated total sapphire weight is 4.68 ct.
