A VERY RARE Russian Imperial presentation copper and brass World War I beaker by Carl FABERGE
The beaker was personally given by Empress Alexandra Feodorovna to a wounded soldier at the Tsarskoe Selo Palace hospital in 1916.
Height 3 3/4 in. (9,4 cm)
The copper beaker is applied with two brass medallions – one with a medieval-style double headed Tsarist eagle, another with inscription in a stylized Old Slavonic script

The beaker is engraved with a cipher of Empress Alexandra Feodorovna (‘АФ’ beneath Imperial crown) and “1916 Tsarskoe Selo”.
Bellow are two other War objects by Carl Faberge, sold from this web site in the past. Both are engraved with Empress Alexandra’s cipher and inscribed “1916 Tsarskoe Selo”.
