This very large ornate 14K gold locket pendant is designed in Art Nouveau taste of the period. The pendant is embellished with excellent bluish white guilloche enamel. The center is applied with a ruby and diamond flower.
The interior is fitted with a glazed picture frame.
The enamel plaque is signed on the back under the enamel, likely by the maker. The pendant is unmarked but almost certainly is Russian. The rings (not original to the pendant) are marked with Russian 1908-1917 gold mark for 56 zolotnik standard and maker’s initials.
The pendant measures (without rings) 57 x 39 mm (2 1/4 x 1 9/16 in.)
