This ornate antique Russian cross is cast in silver and fire-gilded with high karat gold. The cross is embellished with cloisonne enamel in medieval Russo-Byzantine tradition.

This type of cross was called ПРОЦВЕТШИЙ – BLOOMED due to its floral motif.

Metal x-ray analysis reports:  silver – 77.71%, gold – 18.07 %, copper – 3.65%, zinc – 0.44%, nickel – 0.12%.

The cross measures 60 x 44 mm (2 5/16 x 1 3/4 in.)
