Unusual Antique Russian Miniature Egg Pendants

made in St. Petersburg between 1904 and 1908 by Ivan Britzin

silver egg pendants with 14K gold rings are pave set with rose cut red Bohemian garnets.

Height without suspension ring – 14 mm (9/16 in.)

Both eggs are marked with 56 zolotnik gold standard (14K) with initials ‘AP’ for St. Petersburg assay master Alexander Romanov.

One egg is clearly marked with maker’s initials ‘И Б’ for Ivan Britzin.

Another egg is also by Britzin, but his initials are illegible.
